Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 August 2026
Math Kingdom Builders ("the app") is a maths learning game for children aged 5–8, published by Future Bloom Studio ("we", "us"). This policy explains, in plain language, what the app does and does not do with information. It applies to the iOS and Android versions of the app (Android package com.futurebloomstudio.mathkingdom).
We do not collect any personal information about you or your child. Nothing your child does in the app is sent to us or to anyone else. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no ads, no analytics, no trackers, and no third-party data collection. Everything the game remembers stays on your device.
We have no servers, no database, and no way to identify or contact a child who uses the app.
What the app stores on your device
So the game can remember where your child left off, the app saves the following in its own private storage on the device:
- The avatar picture chosen for a profile (a fox, an owl, and so on) — never a name, photo, birthday or age
- Progress: which maths skills have been practised, difficulty level, and which skills have been mastered
- In-game rewards: pretend coins, stars and building materials, and the buildings, decorations and outfits in the kingdom
- Missions completed and keepsakes earned
- Scrapbook pictures — these are pictures the game itself draws of your child's kingdom at a proud moment. They are not camera photos, they never leave the device, and they can only be seen inside the Parent Zone on that device
- Minutes played per day, which is what the Parent Zone dashboard shows you
- Settings you choose in the Parent Zone (session length, difficulty, sound on/off, language)
- Whether a Kingdom Pass has been purchased on the device
This information never leaves the device. We cannot see it, and it is not backed up to us or shared with anyone. If your device's operating system is set to back up apps (for example iCloud Backup or Google's Backup service), a copy may be included in that backup — that backup belongs to you and is governed by Apple's or Google's privacy policy, not ours.
What the app does not collect
The app does not ask for, collect, use or share any of the following:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses or dates of birth
- Photos, camera access, microphone access or voice recordings
- Location of any kind
- Contacts, calendar or files
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA, Android Advertising ID), device identifiers or persistent IDs
- IP-address-based profiles, cookies or web-tracking of any kind
- Behavioural data for advertising or profiling
The app contains no advertising, no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no social media integration and no third-party marketing software of any kind.
What the app is allowed to do on the device
- Internet / network access (Android permissions
INTERNETandACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, and billing permissioncom.android.vending.BILLING). These exist for one reason only: to let a parent buy or restore the optional Kingdom Pass through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and to check that a purchase is still valid. No information about your child is ever sent over the network. The rest of the app works fully offline. - Speech (narration). So that pre-readers can play, the app asks your device's own built-in text-to-speech feature to read out the words shown on screen (for example "Two plus three") along with the language to read them in. This uses the speech engine that is already part of your phone or tablet; the app sends nothing about your child, and no recording is ever made or stored. Some Android devices use a system speech engine that may fetch voice files from its provider — that is a function of the device's own operating system and its provider's privacy policy, not of this app. Narration and sound can be switched off with the sound toggle in the Parent Zone.
The app requests no other device permissions.
Purchases (the Kingdom Pass)
The app is free to play and the free kingdom is a complete game. There is an optional paid Kingdom Pass, which unlocks extra areas and story chapters.
- Every purchase screen sits behind a parent gate — a written question a young child cannot answer. Children never see real-money prices anywhere in the game.
- Purchases are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see, receive or store payment card details, billing addresses or any account information. Those companies process the payment under their own privacy policies:
- Apple — https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
- Google — https://policies.google.com/privacy
- All the app keeps is a note on the device saying whether a pass is active, and when the store last confirmed it. That note is not linked to any person.
- Money in this app never buys progress, coins, stars or materials — only extra content.
Children's privacy
Math Kingdom Builders is designed for children and is built to comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the GDPR's protections for children (GDPR-K / UK GDPR), and the Google Play Families policy and Apple's Kids Category requirements.
Because the app collects no personal information at all, there is nothing for us to disclose, sell, share or hand over, and no verifiable parental consent is required for data collection — none takes place. The app has no chat, no messaging, no user-generated content, no social features, no push notifications and no links out to websites, social networks or app stores from the child's part of the app.
Your rights and choices
Because we hold no personal data about you or your child, there is no account to close and no data for us to look up, correct, export or erase on request.
Everything the app has saved lives on your device, and you are in full control of it:
- To delete everything: uninstall the app. All progress, scrapbook pictures and settings are removed from the device with it. On Android you can also use Settings → Apps → Math Kingdom Builders → Storage → Clear storage.
- To manage a subscription: use your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
If you are in the EU/UK: as we do not process personal data, we do not act as a data controller for any personal data of yours arising from your use of the app.
Security
The app's data is stored in the app's private storage area, protected by the operating system's own app sandbox, and it stays on your device. Since nothing is transmitted or held by us, there is no server-side store of children's information that could be breached.
Store privacy declarations
For transparency, our declarations match this policy:
- Apple App Privacy: Data Not Collected.
- Google Play Data safety: No data collected; no data shared.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top. If a future version were ever to collect personal information — which is not planned — we would obtain verifiable parental consent first, as the law requires.
